Saul Bass was born in New York in 1920 and died in Los Angeles1996. In his lifetime he became a wildly acclaimed graphic designer whose career spanned for over 40 years. The title sequences of the films The Man with the Golden Arm (1955), North by Northwest (1959), and Psycho (1960) are some of his most famous work.
