Blood Workshop
Chocolate Blood:
Our group had the Chocolate Blood. Firstly, we added lots of golden syrup to our container. Firstly, we added a few drops of our red food dye and mixed them together. Then, we dished out three table spoons of coco butter and poured in the hot water to dilute it. Finally, we added the diluted coco powder to our mixture, in the container, and combined it all. This created a deep, rich effect of blood, that came up dark on the camera.
When we tried to throw it at someone, it became clumpy and didn't go very far. To improve this, we will use fairy washing up liquid and red food dye. This will still capture a realistic effect, but it will spread further. Although, when Dan had our chocolate blood in our mouth and let it fall down his top, it trickled in a thick and creepy manner. It looked dark but it did look realistic, as if a wound was oozing blood.

Peanut Butter Blood:
This formula proved to be a thick, brown substance. When Connor had the formula in his mouth and let go, it didn't go very far. In fact, it just dropped straight down in one huge clump. Also, when it was thrown, it was to thick and sticky to leave the container. This substance proved not to be reliable, as it didn't go anywhere, it didn't look realistic and it was far to clumpy to work with.

Icing Blood:
This simple mixture started of as a paste but then became really watery. This proves that you have to find the correct balance, in order to pull this effect of blood off. This mixture became really bright, but was really good to throw. You could use this mixture of blood to spatter against a wall. The only downside was the colour, otherwise we could've used this to create a slowly expanding pool of blood.
