Our Initial Idea:
For our Opening Title Sequence, we plan to have Emma's 6 year old sister to act as our killer in the form of a ghost. She will be killed at the start in a house, but then her ghost comes back 50 years later. She kills a pizza man on her way to the house because she seeks revenge on her killer. In the present day, the house is occupied by a family. The parents go out and their daughter hosts a sleepover with a few of her friends. The girl's killer spoke of one word as the girl died, and that is the word that will be written on the ghost's forehead. The daughter is terrified of this word and loses it when she sees her dead friend at the window with this word painted in blood across her forehead. As the night progresses, the girls are tormented by the ghost of the little girl and, by the end of the sequence, the girls in the house are possessed.

Why We Chose to Change: Transition from Paranormal to Zombie
We first decided to do paranormal, as a lot of people were terrified by it and it looked interesting to shoot. It looked different and we wanted to attempt this challenge. But then we had issues with casting children and attempting to shoot '50 years in the past'. (A.C)
So we decided that to realistically film this would not be possible because of the drastic change in mise-en-scene which we would not be able to convincingly portray. We also made this decision based upon the negative reception towards paranormal films that we received during the interviews we held. We found that zombies had a much more positive reaction and were favoured over paranormal.
We also weren't sure that we could trust a six year old with such a vital part in our sequence, as if things didn't go to plan it would jeopardise the entire product.
Another factor that affected this decision was the fact that there have been so few recent zombie film releases and the ones that have have been incredibly successful. World War Z(2013)and the TV series The Walking Dead(2010-ongoing series) are two examples. So we therefore saw an opening in a niche genre and therefore decided to take it (E.B)
